Rose Nose Rhapsody

by Lake Simons and John Dyer

Performed July 11, 2014 - August 3, 2014 (Friday - Sunday @ 9 PM)

"The clown has great importance as part of the search for what is laughable and ridiculous in man. We should put the emphasis on the rediscovery of our own individual clown, the one that has grown up within us and which society does not allow us to express."
-Jaques Lecoq

The red nose is considered to be the smallest mask in the world and has the ability to expose naiveté and fragility in those who don it.

Rose Nose Rhapsody toys with all that rises and falls in our lives when the end of the world is near. Emotions run wild, adventures ensue, and bonds run deep. Brought to life by a red-nosed ensemble of performers utilizing pantomime and clown.
